Really Good, Actually (Monica Heisey) - read
Unlike Maggie, I’ve met many women getting a divorce in their 20s. Also unlike Maggie, they didn’t seem to be spiraling, maybe because they had children and / or elders to take care of, jobs to keep in order to support themselves and others. Still, I found Maggie’s journey very relatable, we both went through similar post-breakup highs and lows. Albeit a huge book, I read it over one weekend, while traveling, which gives me so much pride. Five boxes of whatever poison you need.
